County HallGROUP MONTHLY MEETINGS

Ordinarily take place on the first Monday of each month except for bank holidays (when they "shift back" a week) at the "Social Services Social Club", Wood Street, WAKEFIELD.     This building (image on right, the part where cars can be seen) is between The County Hall and Wakefield College.

Our Next Group Monthly Meeting

Monday 6th. December 2004.

Our "speaker" is actually a lady from (I believe) a "Well Womens Clinic" to advise / inform us of the therapies they provide at their centre.

Some limited demonstration might be given on the night.       More details, including and especially our speakers name will appear here and in our newsletter when we have it.

As this is our final meeting of the year, also the "Christmas" meeting we will be having wine & "nibbles" at some point in our evening.

See you there?       Certainly hope so, about 7.00 p.m. - event itself to begin approximately 7.30 p.m.

CHEEKY MONKEYS

  • This soft play area is in Grantley Street, Wakefield City Centre.     The car park I use is actually in Back Grantley Street.     Directions from Mandi, these will also appear here at a later date. [just a few of our children playing on a
Wednesday night]

  • These sessions run from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m., usually on Wednesday evenings.     The centre is booked by us for our children and their siblings exclusive use.     As noted recently in our newsletter, these sessions are for paid up members children only.     If you're not, ask Denise how you can pay!

  • This makes for a great deal of "elbow room", something it seems our kids really appreciate.     Well, that's what a mother told me when I took these pictures!     Tea, coffee and light snacks are available for those that want that them.

    SWIMMING SESSIONS

These will now take place at Sun Lane Swimming Baths.       Reason we've "held off" booking this until now is that the changing rooms have undergone a major refurbishment, the centre has only just re-opened.

  • These sessions will run from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons.       The next three such sessions wil be on the third Sunday of each month.
